Review: Not your mothers Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream

Hey everyone this is a review on Not Your Mothers Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream that was send to me through my Influenster VoxBox. I received this product for free but I am not being sponsored or paid to write this review. Kinky Moves encourages your natural curls by giving them an extra oomph. It eliminates frizz and untangles hair, defines naturally curly or wavy hair and adds shine. It also have grapeseed oil that provides UV benefits. Below is what my hair naturals looks like without using the product my review of the product will follow that.

I have medium thickness to my hair and it has natural ringlet curls to it, it also is natural quite dry and frizzy. I was excited about this product because I love my curly hair so anything that can make it look even better I like to try out. So I washed and conditioned my hair like usual and then combed it out, I put a nickel size amount of the Kinky Moves Hair Cream on my hand and ran it through from root to tip then scrunched it. I then let my hair naturally dry and the picture below was the result. I got more defined curls and it was less frizzy and shinier. All in all I will defiantly be buying the full size of this product and recommend that you try it.

Review: Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin

Hey everyone this is my review on Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin that was sent to me by Influenster. I'm not sponsored or paid by any company to do this review its all my own opinions. These two pins do the work of 20 bobby pins, all you have to do is twirl your hair up and twist in the pin and presto you have the perfect top knot.

Of course hearing this I was skeptical due to the fact that that I can never get the perfect top knot even with regular bobby pins. So I decided to just do what they said and twist my hair up and spin the pins in and surprisingly it worked perfectly even though my hair is curly. I will have some pictures below! The only complaint I have is the price is a little high for only two spin pins.

Bath & Body Works Candle Haul

Hey everyone I just recently hit the two for $20 sale at bath and body works. I picked up a few of my favorite fall and winter scents. Including some new ones by White Barn Candle company that I find absolutely delicious smelling. The candles I bought are White Barn Nutmeg and Spice, Twisted Peppermint, Spiced Apple Toddy, Leaves and Winter.

A warm and toasty blend of apple brandy, spiced plum infused with mulled cider and tart cranberry. Smelling it I can defiantly smell the apple brandy and mulled cider the most with under scents of the plum and cranberry mixed it. This retails for $20.00.

With essence of icicles and snowflakes with notes of fir balsam, pine needles and winter woods. Smelling it I can defiantly smell the pine needles and fir balsam but I also pick up a light scent of vanilla and lavender also. This retails for $20.00.

A concoction of spiced caramel and nutmeg is how they describe the scent. When I smell it the first scent I pick up is the spiced caramel and then the nutmeg but I also get a light scent of cinnamon also. The retails for $20.00.

A medley of ripe apples, red berries and golden nectar. When I smell it I pick up an apple scent with hints of cinnamon and spice. The retails for $20.00.

Peppermint with vanilla and sugary musk. Smelling this I defiantly the peppermint and vanilla and a little bit of the sugary musk scent but mostly vanilla. This retails for $20.00.

Review: Bath & Body Works Fall Mini Candle in Black Pepper Bergamot

Hey everyone this is a review about the Bath and Body Works Mini Candle in Black Pepper Bergamot.  This candle was sent for me to review through the Influenster VoxBox program. I am not being paid or sponsored to write this and its all my own opinions. I will start off with what the company has to say about there candle. They say that their candles provide an amazing fragrance experience. The people that make these are fragrance experts some of them world renown. They are in an elegant glass container and are the perfect size for doing trial runs on all of the scents. These candles can burn up to 15 hours. This fragrance is made up of spicy black pepper, bergamot and lavender.

Now for my review, when I received this candle I was very excited because I absolutely love bath and body works candles. This scent was new to me and the name through me off a bit at first since the first words in it are Black Pepper. So I smelled it and was surprised to find it doesn't smell as described but more like a mens cologne. I burned it for about an hour to see how the smell spread and was sad to find out it doesn't give off a strong scent until the top layer is completely melted. I've never had that happen with any of their other candles. All in all I wouldn't buy the scent my self but it burns evenly and is nicely made so I would say go check it out to see if the scent is to your liking.

Review: Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit

Hey everyone this is going to be my review on Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit. I received this through the Influenster and I'm not being paid or sponsored to write this review. The Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit comes with one pair of lashes, 13g of adhesive(which is latex free) and an applicator. The applicator is supposed to deliver an easy clean application. To use this you want to apply a thin line of glue to lashes and let set for 30-60 seconds. Using the applicator apply lashes to the lid as close to the lash line as possible and hold and wait until adhesive is completely dry. The retail for $4.99 and you can pick this kit up at Walgreens.

Now for my opinion about the product, to start off I was excited about this product when I saw it in my Voxbox because I love to try out new lashes. So I followed the instructions on the package step by step so I could see how true to the instructions the application actually is. I removed the lashes and placed them up to my eye to measure the length I actually had to cut a good amount off for it to fit my eye. I used the applicator to hold the lashes while I applied the glue to the lash is a thin line and waiting about 40 seconds until it became tacky. I tried to use the applicator to apply them but the lash band just wasn't flexible enough for the applicator to bend it properly so I wound up using my fingers. I held them in place for about 30 seconds and the glue held well. I only wore them for a couple minutes due to the fact that they were ridiculously bulky and weighed down my eyelid. I might have liked them better if the were a bit more of a natural style and had a thinner for flexible band. Other then that it is a pretty good kit for the cost of it.

Pros: Lashes are well made, Applicator has good grip and glue is long lasting (tried it with different lashes after).

Cons: Thick lash band, to bulky and heavy on the eyelid and not natural enough for my taste.

Hope you all enjoyed this post and if you decide to try this kit out it does come in different styles so I might try a more natural looking one if they have it!
