Product Review: Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick

Hey everyone, this is going to be my review on the Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick in Pink Cherie. This color is a satin finish and claims to be very moisturizing and give great vivid color. It also claims to help with fine lines and repair damaged lips. So now I will tell you what I thought of this product..... I loved it.
This lipstick is a very creamy consistency and defiantly is very moisturizing. It does give a good amount of color to the lips which I was surprised about since most moisturizing lipsticks don't give decent color pay off usually. I am only twenty so I am not sure about there fine line claims but it defiantly makes my lips just as soft as other lip balms I use do. So all in all I give this product 4.5 out of 5 stars I would defiantly recommend it if your looking for something moisturizing that gives a good amount of color to your lips. The only downside to this is the price, it retails for $18.00 which is even more then a MAC lipstick so I would only buy it if your really needing a moisturizing lip color! Hope this post helps you all out, Thanks for reading!

"The Mary Kay Look" Glamour Voxbox Opening

Hello everyone long time no talk! I have an exciting post for you with lots of awesome products in it. I received my voxbox from Influenster this month and was pleasantly surprised! All of the products turned out to be something I was interested in using and trying so here are the products that I received.

The first product that I opened is the brush above and it is Mary Kay's Cream Eyeshadow/Concealer brush. Which essentially is just a less dense flat brush. This retails for $10.00.

This next product is the Mary Kay Lash Primer, you are supposed to apply this before applying your regular mascara and it is supposed to help application go on smoother. It also is supposed to keep your lashes separated. This product retails for $15.00.

Mary Kay's True Dimensions Lipstick in Pink Cherie is the next product that I received. It claims to be very moisturizing and give radiant color. It retails for $18.00.

This is Mary Kay's Lash Love Lengthening Mascara, it claims that it gives long, strong and separated lashes. It retails for $15.00.

This is Mary Kay's Cream Color Shadow in Violet Storm. It claims to be smooth, pigmented and long lasting for up to ten hours. Also that the more you use the color intensity will build but it will not become heavy. It retails for $14.00.

These are the swatches I took of the LipStick in Pink Cherie and Cream Color Violet Storm.

My New York Trip for IMATS!

Hi everyone, as you can tell by my last post I went to IMATS New York over the weekend. I would just like to say thank you to my parents for the best twentieth birthday present ever! Anyways I had an amazing time there the city was a pretty cool place to be. We stayed at the INK48 Hotel which was only a couple blocks away from where IMATS was so it only took a five minute walk to get there!

The place it was held was different looking then I thought it was going to be, but that was quickly made up for by all the amazing booths and makeup artists that were there. There was a ton of people there it was a little crazy but defiantly super fun. I stopped at almost all of the booths the only one I couldn't get to was Stila due to the massive mob of people! We got there a little late due to the fact that we had to drive over five hours to get there and then take a train so we missed a lot of the things that they were doing but that was okay the amazing makeup made up for that!

I met two of my favorite youtubers there, which was just unreal! Emily and Julie were both super sweet and easy to talk to. Probably one of the best moments of my life were being able to meet them.

Luckily we got there early enough to see some of the contest they were doing. Isn't this girls makeup just amazing!

This is just an overview of what I got while I was there I will be doing a more in depth post soon!

Hope you enjoyed the post and if any of you went leave a comment and tell me how you liked it!

Spring Wish List: Nordstrom Edition

This first outfit is my favorite, I love the high waisted shorts because they aren't to short but are still form fitting. The crop top is a lovely shade of baby powder blue and the bag and flats give the outfit a nice clean finish.

This is a more edgy outfit for those days where I'm just not feeling like a dress but don't want to be to casual. First off the scalloped lace detail cut into the shorts is just plain amazing and also looks adorable with the lace on the crop top. The knuckle bag and the cat eye sun glasses give this look a edgy but feminine feel.

These dresses are the last things I saw at Nordstrom's which I found adorable. I love the first dress because of the way its on the shorter side but also modest due to the high collar. The print is also lovely, the second dress is around the same length but has a sexier feel since because of the cut out in the center of the dress and the bow tie. The third dress is my favorite out of the three, the color is beautiful and it gives it a flirty feel with the sheer waist and the high-low cut.
