My Favorite Fashion Looks for Spring

Sheer and knitted crop tops are the number one look that I'm most excited for this spring. You can wear it with either low rise jeans for a more sexy look or with high rise shorts for a more modest look. They also will look super cute over top bathing suits.

High wasted shorts are another trend that I am looking forward to for this spring. They can look cute and simple with a t-shirt or tank top. They also can be paired with a crop top for a young fun look. The think belt that is in the picture above also gives it a bit of a more detailed look when wearing it with a t-shirt or tank top.

The nautical theme is one of the more popular trends for this spring. This dress above is an adorable example of the trend. I can't want to wear this trend on vacation or when I'm going for a more nautical look this spring.

Also isn't the back of this dress just adorable!

Obviously this trend is a reoccurring one but seems to change just a bit each year. Sun dresses are great to wear this spring especially with floral patterns. Also pairing it up with edgy pieces like a spiky belt or leather jacket for those cooler spring nights gives it a fun and different vibe.

Sunhats of all kinds are a big trend for this spring! They are cute to add to a more plain outfit such as shorts and a crop top. Also they look cute with bathing suits and will protect your face and head from the sun!

Cheeky bottoms are my favorite style bathing suit bottom for this spring. They are fun and flirty without being to low cut.

Lastly the 50's style bikini is a big trend for this spring and summer. They look great on girls with big or small chests because of the lift and support that they give while still providing coverage.

Sally Hansen Cosmetics Inspired By Carmindy: Eyeshadow Trios

Since the blushes I got from Sally Hansen's by Carmindy line were so nice I decided to try some of the eyeshadow trios. I bought three of them that would compliment my eye color the most, so I got one with blues, another with purple and one has more of a brown-bronze feel.

This pallet is called The Quartz Pallet, these brown almost bronze colors will be lovely on any skin tone and with any eye color. In the upper right is the highlight color it is a lovely tan champagne color. The upper left color is a lovely taupe color with a purple tone to it. The bottom color is a deep brown with a lot of glitter in it. The other two colors have a nice satin finish with a shimmer to it.

The swatches above are for the Quartz Pallet.

This pallet is called The Storm Eye, it is filled with blues and greys. The top right color is a pure off white with a satin finish. The upper left color is a grey with silver shimmer in it it also has a satin finish. The bottom color is a dark blue color has light blue and silver sparkle in it.

This last pallet is called The Amethyst Pallet and it is filled with beautiful shades of purple. The upper right color is white with a pinky tone to it. The upper left color is a shade of purple with a brown tone to it. Lastly the bottom color is a plum shade with white shimmer.
These are the swatches for The Amethyst Pallet.

All of these shades are well pigmented with a satin finish all of them have either a glitter or shimmer in them.

Sally Hansen Inspired By Carmindy Makeup:Blushes

I discovered Sally Hansen makeup in my local CVS and decided to try a few products out because of the sale they were having on them. I got three blushes Fawn, Poppy and Sunset.
This blush is called Fawn it is a powder formula. It is a light bronze with red and orange undertones. It also has a slight shimmer to it when applied to the skin. It is a sheer color so you don't have to worry about applying to much with just a swipe. It looks best on when you build up the color.
This is the color called Poppy, it is also a powder formula blush. The color is a hot pink with red and peach tones to it. It also has a stronger shimmer to it with gold flexes. This blush is a more opaque color so be gentle when applying it to your cheeks.
This blush is the color called Sunset, it is a cream blush formula. The color is a darker red color with brown and orange undertones in it. It is a matte blush[the shine in it in the picture is from other products getting into it] which has a creamy formula. This blush applies pretty opaque to the skin so when using this it is best to use just enough to cover the tip of your finger and blend in onto your cheeks.
Overall these blushes were good quality but were still a rather expensive price for drugstore cosmetics. I would purchase again but only when there is a sale.

Sunset Sheerest Creme Blush; CVS; $8.99

This is my daily moisturizer it has a creamy yet almost water like texture that leaves my skin moisturized but doesn't leave a greasy finish which most moisturizers leave on my skin. This product also evens out my skin tone and reduces redness by targeting irritated areas of the skin and moisturizing and soothing the area.

This eyeshadow is called Carbon it is made by the brand MAC. It is a simple matte black eyeshadow, I use this eyeshadow everyday as an eyeliner. I also use it every once in a while when I am doing a smokey eye that needs a little more depth.

This eyeshadow is called Ego by MAC it is a starflash finish and leaves a sheer shimmering pink color on the lid. I use this as an all over lid color for days where I want to go for a more natural look but still have that nice shimmer.

Mac Mineralize Foundation is my daily foundation that I use. It has a smooth creamy texture and has a moisturizing complex that keeps my skin smooth and moisturized for hours. It also have spf 15 which gives my skin protection if I decide to not use sunscreen[which i don't recommend]. This foundation has a matte finish without leaving a cakey look.

This is the Urban Decay Naked Pallet and I use this almost every day. It has twelve eye shadows ten are shimmer finish and two are matte. All of the colors go so well together so I can come up with anything from a simple natural look to a dramatic smokey eye. Plus the color creep makes a great eyeliner.

I use this to keep my eyeshadow vibrant and make it so they can not crease. This is a creamy formula that smooths on to a almost non visible finish but at the same time evens out the skin color on your eyelid.

I use this Mineralized Skin Finish everyday in the areas of my face that I highlight, such as my cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of my nose and the inner corners of my eyes. This product is a shimmery finish that is easy to blend because of how fine the shimmer is in the product. Plus you use so little of this product each day it will last you a very long time.

This eyeshadow is called Sushi Flower it is made by MAC and it is a satin finish. I like to use this on the outer half of my eye or in my crease. In my opinion it is more of a matte finish then a satin.
This is by far the best mascara I have ever used, the brush is big enough to cover each of your lashes thoroughly. I can either just use one coat for a nice natural look or build it up for a more dramatic look. This formula gives a very clean look on your lashes that doesn't clump.

This blush is called Well Dressed and it is made by MAC cosmetics. It is a satin finish that leaves a sheer pink color when used with a slight shimmer to leave a nice glow to your skin.

Urban Decays eyeliner in zero is the one I use everyday in my tight line and sometimes in my waterline when I want more of a defined eyes. It stays in my waterline without smudging for hours and also is creamy enough to use as an eyeliner on my lid that is easy to smudge out for a smokey effect.
