Blue & Grey Smokey Eye Tutorial

Hope you all had a great holiday season and got to spend lots of time with your family and loved ones. I decided to put up this tutorial after picking up a few new makeup items during an after Christmas sale. Hope you enjoy!

Start with a clean and properly moisturized face so the makeup will apply evenly and flawlessly. I used Bioelements Beyond Hydration Moisturizer.
Apply a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone or a foundation if you need the extra coverage. I used Physicians Formula Organic Tinted Moisturizer in Fair to Light.
Apply a concealer to any redness or blemishes, I used Mac Cosmetics Select Cover-Up in nw20.

Apply a yellow base concealer to counteract any dark circles under the eyes, I used NYC Cosmetics Cover Stick Corrector in Light.
Apply a translucent powder all over the face with a fluffy brush to set the concealer and tinted moisturizer and using a sponge pat some powder on the concealer covering the under eye darkness. The powder I used is the Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF 50 Powder Foundation in Translucent Light.
Apply a peachy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and work it up to your hairline. I used Mac Cosmetics powder blush in Melba.
Apply a highlight color to the high points of your face such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, above the brow arches, above the lip cupid bow, on the inner corners of the eyes and the middle of the chin. The highlight I used is Mac Mineralized Skin Finish in Perfect Topping.[no longer available from mac]
Fill in the sparse areas in your eyebrows and comb them into place. The brow color I used is the darkest color in the Maybelline New York Natural Smokes Palette.
Apply a eyeshadow primer and a champgne shade on the lid all the way up to the brow bone. I used Urban Decays Primer Potion and eyeshadow in Sin from the Naked Palette.
Apply a blue toned Grey to the crease keep the outer half darker and fade it out as you work it into the inner corner. The eyeshadow I used is Revlons Satin eyeshadow in Peacock Lustre.
Use a Gunmetal grey color in the outer v so darken the look and blend it outwards for a smokey effect. The eyeshadow I used is Gunmetal by Urban Decay from the Naked Palette.
Apply the same blue toned grey you used in the crease to the lower lash line and fade it out using a smudge brush.
Apply a white shade to the inner corners of the eyes to brighten the look and make the eyes look more open. I used Virgin from the Naked Palette by Urban Decay.
Apply a black cream eyeliner to your upper lash line and wing it out. The eyeliner I used is by ELF in the color black.
Apply a black mascara to the upper and lower lashes the mascara I used it Revlons Custom eyes in Black.
Apply a brown lip stain or lip stick to your lips, the stain I used is Never Ending Nude by NYC cosmetics.
Apply a nude lipgloss to your lips and your done! The lip gloss I used is Incolor Lipshine Shimmer Glaze in Sugar Cookie by Jordanna.
