A Review: Crown Brushes

Hey everyone, I recently purchases a crown brush set off of HauteLook. I have always just used drugstore brushes so I decided to invest in some better ones. I found a set on Hautelook for only $25.00   I was like well why not try them for that price. I received them a while ago but wanted to use them a while and review them instead of just haul them. So on with the review!

The brush set came with ten different brushes including a flat bronzer brush, tapered powder brush, angle brush, jumbo foundation brush, shadow crease brush, oval shadow, angle liner, eyeliner brush, mini fan brush and a spoolie brush. They are all from their synthetic brush collection other then the spoolie brush. All of the brushes were soft and packaged with a plastic over them. The clean well with very little fall out.

This is the flat bronzer brush, I don't use it as that though I find it to be to wide for my face to be a bronzer brush. I've been using it to blend out blush and foundation which it works fantastic doing so. I do recommend this brush just not for its original purpose.

This is the tapered powder brush, this is great for just what it is described it distributed my pressed powder evenly and i've actually used it with blush a couple times and it worked well with that also.

This is the angle brush i've used it with both blush and with bronzer its a great brush because it doesn't pick up a ton of product so its hard to over blush or bronze yourself unintentionally.

This is the jumbo foundation brush I have't actually used this brush yet due to the fact that I don't wear foundation that often and when I do I use my hands for a light application. This brush is soft and dense so I don't think it will leave a streaky finish with foundations.

This is the shadow crease brush, I use it for my outer corner it works wonderful for smoking out eyeshadows. It also works great for applying highlight colors to the brow bone due to the shape.

This is the oval shadow brush it works great for applying an all over lid color or a highlight thats all I really have used it for so far. It also is good for blending out harsh lines.

This is the angle liner brush it works great for just regular lining of the top and bottom lid and it works great when creating winged eyeliner looks.

This is the mini fan brush, i've been using it to put powder on my under eye concealer and for applying highlight on the cheek bones.

This is the eyeliner brush, I haven't actually used it with eyeliner yet i've been using it to fill in my brows and to apply color to my bottom lash line.

Lastly this is the spoolie brush that came with the set, i've just used it to unclump my mascara its a heavy duty brush for a spoolie though not flimsy at all.

All in all this brush set in my opinion was definitely worth buying. The brushes were good quality and only one came with a little bit of error to it I will post a picture at the end of what I mean. The brushes were all soft and easy to use and clean. So defiantly recommend all of these brushes and I will link them all at the bottom if your interested in purchasing them!

My only complaint is that the flat bronzer brush came with uneven brush fibers and they were all attached so i wound up having to trim a lot of them down. I don't know if its because they were off hautelook on discount or it was just an error in making the brush.
