A small Haul!

Hello everyone! Just thought I would post some new clothing items that I have picked up recently.

This LuckyBrand shirt is super adorable I love both the leopard print and how its more of a seventies style cut. 

I love this sweater it is a little oversized and its also super soft. The bronze threading that they used in it is just so pretty!

   

I found this maxi dress at Forever2, it has the shark bite bottom and the deep V in the back that gives it sex appeal while staying modest by not showing to much leg or chest. Plus the lace sleeves are just adorable.

I got this top from Kohls for only about fourteen dollars and i've seen similar for up to fifty dollars so I was super excited to find it. I like how the Peter Pan collar has sequins, and they added an extra pop by having poka-dot fabric. Its a bubble bottom and fitted at the top so it fits really nicely.

I got this top from nordstrom's and its so comfy its a high low cut and super loose and flowy.  I like how it has added interest by having the pockets and the flap that hides the buttons. It was originally one hundered dollars but I got it for fourteen which I found very nice!

I purchased this sweater at forever21 and i've been looking at sweaters this style for a while. So when I found this one for only eight dollars I had to grab it!

I also got this adorable Sanrio themed sweater at Forever21 too! 

Lastly I picked up this Kenneth Cole Reaction Wallet for around only twelve dollars because mine was falling apart. I love how it comes with the little coin purse!

Writers Block: Book Review The Dead by Charlie Higson

The Dead By Charlie Higson, published in 2010. "THE DEAD begins one year before the action in THE ENEMY, just after the Disaster. A terrible disease has struck everyone over the age of sixteen, leaving them either dead or a decomposing, flesh-eating creature. The action starts in a boarding school just outside London where all the teachers have turned into zombies. Together they begin a terrifying journey to find safety, and home."- Goodreads

Going into reading this book I figured it would be slightly oddly written like the first book in the series "The Enemy", but I was wrong in this book the writing format was much easier to get used to. This book is set in this day and age in London, England. The story begins with a group of teenage boys in an all boys prep school with them battling their now crazed used to be teachers. The way this book was set up was much easier to read then the last, the characters made more sense and so did the events in the book. This book also helped explain a lot of things I didn't quite understand in the first book which I greatly appreciated. This book is a lot more gruesome then the last though forewarning! All in all I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars because it throughly held my interest and definitely made me want to read the next book in the series.

Writers Block: Really Large Book Haul

Hey everyone, I thought I would do a book haul today since I went to Barnes and Noble and The Used Book Store. I went a little overboard as you can see....well on with the haul! I've also already read two of these and am on a third one so I will put book reviews up for those soon! Leave a comment if you've read any of these books or are planning to!

Writers Block: Book Review The Enemy by Charlie Higson

      Hello everyone, this is my review on the apocalyptic thriller called The Enemy by Charlie Higson. This book was published September 3, 2008, and it is 448 pages long. The synopsis of this book is" They'll chase you, They'll rip you open, They'll feed on you. When the sickness came all the adults in the world became ill and died, or worse they became crazed. Only children under the age of 14 have survived the illness and are fighting to survive. There are rumors of a safe place to hide so the group of kids take a dangerous adventure across London in search of it. But will they make it there alive". Sounds pretty good I know and here are my thoughts on it.

   First picking up this book I was expecting to be reading more of a adult novel due to the reviews saying how disgusting and descriptive it was. When I began reading I was thrown off by the writing style, to me it was almost as if a ten year old had written it. Then I realized that the writing style was narration mostly so it was ten year olds talking most of the time which explained a lot. So once I got past the writing style I found the book to be very well written. It is full of emotion and action scenes to boot, and the reviews were not lying when they said it got pretty disgusting at times. This to me was a great start to what seems to be an interesting series( I just finished book two and it was awesome!). So all in all I give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. Only because the way it was written still throws me off a bit but you do get used to it after a few chapters.
